Malothar Gram Panchayat is located in the Kesla block of Hoshangabad district, Madhya Pradesh. Women were elected unopposed to all 10 posts of the Gram Panchayat, including the Sarpanch post, with Sangeeta Dhurve elected as Sarpanch. The panchayat covers three villages: Kubrik, Malothar, and Mahendragarh. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced an additional ₹15 lakh for the panchayat's development. Under his incentive scheme: ₹5 lakh for unopposed Sarpanch, ₹7 lakh if all Panches also elected unopposed, ₹12 lakh if all posts won by women, and ₹15 lakh if women win all posts unopposed.
