Gaura-Gauri Puja is a major festival celebrated in Chhattisgarh. It is associated with the worship of Gauri (Parvati) and Gaura (Shiva) and marks the beginning of the harvest season. Women observe fasts and perform rituals during this festival.

The Hornbill Festival is celebrated annually from December 1–10 in Nagaland. Named after the Indian Hornbill bird, it showcases the cultural heritage, traditions, and folk arts of the Naga tribes and is often called the 'Festival of Festivals'.
