The full form of EEPROM is Electrically Erasable Programmable ROMs. In EPROM (Erasable Programmable ROMs), the ROM is cleared by exposing it to UV radiation and also it’s a tedious process. Whereas, in EEPROM, the ROM can be cleared electrically and thus is less time consuming and more efficient.
